Seneca Baptist Church Staff
C. (Charles) Von Reynolds has served as pastor of Seneca Baptist Church since July 1990. He served as associate pastor of Seneca Baptist Church from October 1986 until he was called as pastor. His previous pastorates include Reedy Fork Baptist Church in Seneca, SC (1983-1986) and Pisgah Baptist Church in Cloverport, KY (1981-1983). Dr. Reynolds received the Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY in 1990, where he also received the Master of Divinity in 1983. He received the Bachelor of Music degree from Furman University in 1980 with an emphasis in church music. He grew up in Simpsonville, SC where he graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1976.
He and his wife, the former Gloria Merck of Greenville, were married on December 15, 1979 at East Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC where he served as Minister of Music from 1978-1980. Dr. Reynolds was ordained into the Gospel Ministry by East Park Baptist Church on August 2, 1981. Dr. and Mrs. Reynolds are the parents of three children: Timothy (wife, Blaire), Andy, and Elizabeth. Dr. Reynolds has served on the Executive Board of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, and currently serves as a trustee for the South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging. Besides his denominational work, Dr. Reynolds serves on the Board of Disabilities and Special Needs of Oconee County (The Tribble Center). |

Rev. Stephen R. Lamb began his ministry with Seneca Baptist Church as Minister of Music in August 2008. Previously, he served as Minister of Worship/Adult Education of Calvary Baptist Church, Arcadia, FL (2001-2008), Pastor of Music/Administration of Alexander Baptist Church, Portsmouth, VA (1999-2001), Assistant Pastor/Minister of Music of Calvary Baptist Church, Arcadia, FL (1993-1999), Associate Pastor/Minister of Music/Youth of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC (1989-1993). He received his Masters of Arts in Church Music from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in December 1991.
He and his wife Catherine (Cathy), were married on June 10th, 1989. Stephen and Cathy are the parents of Caitlyn and Caleb. He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in October of 1988 by Sunset Road Baptist Church. He served as Minister of Music/Youth/Activities of Sunset Road Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC (1986-1989). He received his Bachelor of Music with an Emphasis in Church Music from Wingate University, Wingate, NC in May 1986. While a student at Wingate, he served as Minister of Music for Red Hill Baptist Church, Polkton, NC (September 1985-August 1986, College Internship), Counselor and Staff Member of Garden City Chapel and Retreat, Garden City, SC (May-August 1984-85), Music Leader, Evangelism Team for New South River Association, Fayetteville, NC (May-August 1983).
He has been active in community events, coaching soccer and baseball teams and served as Chaplain for the Desoto County Sheriff's Department from 1995-1999. He has also sung with the Florida Baptist Singing Men (1993-1999). He has enjoyed leading and/or participating in mission trips both in the U.S. and in Europe.
It is his desire to lead people to experience intimate worship with a Mighty God.

John joined the staff of Seneca Baptist Church in November 2009. He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been serving in full-time ministry for more than fifteen years in areas of Christian education and as senior pastor. John has recently celebrated 20 years of marriage to his bride Michelle. They are blessed to have 2 children, Katelyn and Ryan. In his spare time John enjoys projects around the house and the outdoors with fishing, hunting and the occasional golf game.

Minister to Students/College
Joey joined the staff of Seneca Baptist Church in August 2010. He is a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, KY where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a focus in pastoral ministry. He has been serving in full-time ministry for more than ten years in areas of student ministry. Joey has been married to his gorgeous wife, Gena, for 18 years. They are blessed with 3 sons and a beautiful little girl whom they adopted from Guatemala. In his spare time Joey enjoys spending time with his family, and being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Children/Preschool
Rita joined the Seneca Baptist staff in September 2010. Rita worked at Honea Path First Baptist Church before coming to Seneca Baptist for 6 years as the Children's Director. She has a tremendous heart for God and for children! Rita is married to Wayne Green who is the Head Football Coach at Seneca High School. They have been married 15 years and have 4 children, Brian, Will, Tyler, and Tali. They also have 2 daughter-in-laws, Brandi and Laura, who have given them beautiful grandchildren, Taytum, Gabe, Jensen, and one more on the way!

Lynn has been a Ministerial Assistant at Seneca Baptist since April, 2001. She obtained her Associate of Business Degree from Tri-County Technical College in 1995. Before coming to Seneca Baptist, Lynn worked as Ministrial Assistant for Bethel Baptist Church for 14 years. She is married to Mike Cox, and they have two children, Josh (wife, Ashley) and Justin (wife, Amber). |

 Ministry Assistant Brandy has been a Ministerial Assistant at Seneca Baptist since September 2010. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Clemson University in December 2001. Before coming to Seneca Baptist, Brandy worked as a Case Worker for the Department of Social Services. She is married to Kevin Brown and they have two children, Ben and Erin.
